Dear Holbrook Staff, Families, and Community Members,

I hope this message finds you well and you’re enjoying the final weeks of summer here in Maine. As we prepare for the start of a new school year, I am excited to welcome everyone back to Holbrook Middle School.

At Holbrook, we are committed to being “A Place to Be,” where students are encouraged to grow academically, socially, and personally in a supportive, and positive learning environment.

We are looking forward to another great fall sports season! With a shorter turnaround before the start of practices this year, we wanted to share some important dates and information.

Cross Country

• Practices will begin on Wednesday, September 2, and continue on Thursday, September 3, from 3:15-4:30 p.m.
• Please make arrangements for students to be picked up at Holbrook by 4:30 p.m. on both days.

Soccer

• Tryouts will be held on Thursday, September 3, and Friday, September 4, from 3:15-4:45 p.m.
• Please make arrangements for students to be picked up at Holbrook by 4:45 p.m. on both days.

Dear Holbrook Parents and Guardians,

The soccer season begins shortly after the start of the school year. The first day of school is Tuesday, September 1, and the first soccer game of the season is Thursday, September 10. This is a shorter turnaround than usual. At this time, tryout dates and times have not yet been finalized, but families will be notified as soon as the schedule is available.
